The Centre for Cognitive & Behavioural Change can assist people who experience problems in their relationships (i.e. intimate, family, friendships), their communication patterns and/or who find it difficult to overcome specific situations. The Centre offers a variety of group programs aimed at providing individuals with opportunities to work through these challenges. In group therapy, members join to establish a safe, supportive, and confidential environment.
Here they have opportunities to develop the following skills and mind frame:
- A sense of acceptance and belonging
- Develop new insight and understanding
- Explore causes and effects of maladaptive or negative behaviour
- Learn and practice new behaviours and communication skills
- Identify with others experiences/challenges and help others
